Eric Daino

Eric Daino is mostly well known from the popular Texas based ska/punk band The Holophonics and is still working as band leader remotely after a recent relocation to NYC where he’s produced his most recent solo EP. Releasing 2-3 different solo projects a year, Daino is no stranger to writing, recording, mixing, and producing his own music DIY.

Inspired mostly by pop punk, emo, and indie rock, these projects reflect inspirations drawn from popular acts such as Saves the Day, Jeff Rosenstock, and Jimmy Eat World among others. Daino, (he/they) who has a somewhat cult following in the ska/punk community for his versatile abilities as a musician, captivating stage presence, and rapid output of material, hopes to appeal to a broader audience with this EP, including the greater LGBTQAI+ community.

The EP, “Late Fees For Borrowed Time” will be released on the next Bandcamp Friday, August 6th 2021 and is already available to stream in full on Patreon for subscribers. Daino also recently previewed one of the tracks off the EP, “Time Adventure” on his Podcast, “Adventure Guys”, recently which he co hosts. Plans for the future include another solo release and supporting tour in early 2022.
