The Abruptors

The Abruptors are an American ska band formed in Buffalo NY in 2015. The band has toured internationally and released several EPs. Their debut full-length album will release on Asian Man Records on October 4th, 2019. The band is best known for its unique blend of traditional ska, soul, and reggae.

The Abruptors have shared the stage with many major players in their genre, including The Slackers, Mustard Plug, The Aggrolites, MU330, The Planet Smashers, Big D and the Kids Table, Fishbone, The Toasters, Mephiskapheles and many more.

Their Debut Album "Love and Other Disasters" was recorded in 2019 by Rick Johnson of Mustard Plug. The album features many prominent guest musicians such as Dan Potthast, Brandon Jenison, Jim Hofer, and Christopher Candy. The Album is a mix of Rocksteady, Soul, ska of course, Reggae, and R & B.
