CATBITE IS A SKA BAND BASED IN PHILADELPHIA. SINCE 2019, THE BAND HAS BLENDED TWO-TONE SKA, WITH STIFF RECORDS POWER POP AND PUNK. THEIR DEBUT, SELF-TITLED ALBUM WAS RELEASED VIA BAD TIME RECORDS AND FEATURED EIGHT BOUNCY TRACKS THAT COVERED TOPICS SUCH AS BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS, BEING CRANKED OUT ON SPEED, AND HOW FUN IT IS TO SKANK. RIGHT NOW, THE BAND IS WORKING ON THE FOLLOW UP RECORD, WHICH FINDS THEM DOUBLING DOWN ON THEIR LOVE OF THE SELECTOR AND THE SPECIALS, AND HAS A BIT MORE DIRECTLY, POLITICAL EDGE.
